Be The Change

Have you faced adversities, loss or grief in your life; or do you know anyone who has or may be you were there for a loved one in your life, to see them through that difficult time?

Napoleon Hill once stated that “Opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat”.

I agree on that statement as my life is a living proof of that, where I was looking at the closed door for too long and didn’t realise the beautiful opportunities that were hidden in those difficult circumstances. In my life’s journey, I have now learnt to see the opportunities through each difficult situation. I have to admit that it is hard to see it immediately as long as I was focusing on the negatives or the difficult situations. It is when I learnt to let go of the closed door and accepted that it is only an indication that the Universe/God is showing me a new path to my destiny, that I started living my life to the fullest.

I have learnt that nothing is a mistake in our life, every step is showing and guiding me to the right path to achieve my higher purpose in life. There are always beautiful lessons in each circumstances.

Taking these lessons into account, I have decided to “Be The Change” in every situation. Will you join my and “Be The Change” in your own life and even help those around you?

I truly believe that we can be the change by choosing ‘love’ over hatred, ‘peace’ over war, ‘kindness’ over rudeness and ‘joy’ over overwhelming sadness.

Have you realised that even a kind word spoken or even a smile can make a world of difference to someone around you? At times a simple act of kindness that you show/extend to a stranger, can have ripple effect in a positive way to make a big positive impact to their day and their life. Well… I started my journey of becoming the Change Agent with a simple action, where I was willing to take a chance and smile with a stranger and if appropriate to even say ‘hello’ or greet them for the day. This is an amazing experience as at times I feel a person who seem to be stressed or pre-occupied can snap out of that status as they try to smile back. If they don’t return the smile or my greeting I don’t take it personally. I do it with love from one human soul to another. That simple gesture has made a big difference to me and at times I can see an instant positive change on the other person too (which makes my day!). Also it is a beautiful way to start the day by spreading hope and love to all.

I hope, starting today, that you will take up this challenge and make a commitment to make a positive impact on someone’s day – without expecting anything in return (the only aim is to spread hope and joy to all) <3
